OUR MISSION
Passaic Valley Summer Theater (PVST) is an artistic enrichment program designed to provide first class instruction to developing high school theater students through the production of professional quality musical theater.
ABOUT PVST
Established in 2002, PVST is a non-profit, tuition based organization sponsored by the Passaic Valley Education Foundation. PVST is committed to bringing a professional theater experience to high school students throughout the tri-state area. We offer what most schools cannot in today’s budgetary environment. Schools are cutting out artistic theater, PVST is bringing it back!
Our goal is to bring "cutting edge" theater to our students—and we have succeeded! Many PVST alumni are now working professionals who have gone on to perform on Broadway or in television and commercials.
Though our program is hosted at Passaic Valley High School, we highly encourage students from other schools to join us. The result is a dynamic, passionate team of young people.
WHAT WE ARE
PVST is a summer theater conservatory for students that are serious about musical theatre. We are a team, a family, an ensemble. PVST is not a summer camp. We are not here to play. Students will work, grow, learn and experience real quality theatre.
